Serenity

Took this in a suburban neighborhood east of the strip. A friend of mine invited me to a little get together she wanted to throw for close friends, and turned out to be a really fun time. I have always lived in the city, until moving recently, so I never really knew what it was living in a Vegas suburb. It’s quite nice actually. No noisy streets at night, one one pestering you for change at a gas station, no such feeling of living in the intercity. It is true that The Strip defines my city, but there is so much more to Vegas than the neon lights, just waiting to be discovered. This peace, this serenity I felt sitting in that jacuzzi, having a glass of red wine, enjoying the company of close friends define my life in Vegas. Moving away is a thought that shills me to my bones…
