Aside from playing three sports in high school, I also played cello in the orchestra. It was an amazing time in my life and still to this day occasionally dabble in playing. I wanted to evoke a professional cellist back in the day, and many of my friends thought I would, but life takes you to unexpected detours. I am glad that my sister also has a passion for orchestral ensembles and has begun training with the viola. She is very gifted too a she made the advanced placement in orchestra in her middle school.
I took this picture during of of her concerts, and was very pleasantly surprised by the skills level of these middle school kids. They were playing professional orchestral movements and songs. Anyway, I’ve gotten a bit off track. My point is living in Las Vegas , It’s great to see young people have an appreciation or performing arts as this city has a distinct stigma attached
